Rebirth

Rebirth is one in a series of four small paintings I did on the theme of states of being, the others are Coil, Toil and Sloth.
Painted in gouache on paper, this one shows a man. bursting out of an egg.

I still have this original framed painting.

I’m also in the progress of recreating the four paintings on canvas.
