Toil

Toil is one in a series of four small paintings I did on the theme of states of being, the others are Coil, Sloth and Rebirth.
Painted in gouache on paper, this one shows a man. head down walking on a sphere.

The original was sold at a Chameleon Arts mixed exhibition at the Raddison hotel in Edinburgh in 2007.

I’m also in the progress of recreating the four paintings on canvas.
