Lil’ Devil
(porcelain)
Gavin Bonnar
Gavin produced many clay sculptures and pots whilst working as an Arts Assisant at the Lochgelly Centre in 1985-86, including a self portrait bust.
While at art college he made several small figurines in porcelain based on signs of the Zodiac and made use of the Art College’s ceramics department to fire the pieces even after he had left Art College in 1991.
He still likes to make things in clay but finding somewhere with a kiln makes it difficult. He has made a few things with airclay but he still prefers working with porcelain.
